Peterborough National- April 29th (Rounds 1 & 2)

Below you should find all the information you need for rounds 1 & 2 of the National series at Peterborough on April 29th until May 1st

Team Area:

ALL BC Affiliated Teams have been contacted for gazebo bookings. The team area is located directly behind the start hill.

Club Gazebo booking:

Clubs are to be given priority of track side space; the cost for gazebo space is £5.00 per 3mx3m area. (Set by BC)
To book club space please email the following information to bmxphantoms@aol.com
Club name.
Size of space required.
Name of person making booking.

PLEASE NOTE:-
The person making the booking is responsible for paying.
Payment should be made at the entrance cabin at the car park on arrival and before any gazebos are erected, you will be given a receipt, please hang this on your gazebo as proof of payment. (One receipt per 3×3m will be provided)
Bookings will close on Sunday April 17th at 7pm, a short time later a list will be listed on bmxtalk and our facebook page of the area your gazebo will be placed.
Positions will be first come first served.
Your space will be marked out and will have your club name in it; this will be your space for the whole of the weekend.

Camping and car parking:

Camp site will open at 11am on Friday morning and will cost £20 for the weekend. The campsite must be vacated by 10am on Monday morning. Camping is on the field next to the track. Toilets, showers, fresh water and waste disposal point are provided.
There is no need to book camping as there are plenty of spaces available. Entrance cabin to site will be manned 24 hours a day.
All campers will be provided with rubbish bags, there will be skips available to dispose of your rubbish.
Security will be provided overnight. Please be vigilant.
Unfortunately we are unable offer camping for Thursday as infrastructure will not be in place, However if you would like to camp on Thursday there is a campsite 10 minutes drive from the track, info can be found here:  www.caravanclub.co.uk

Car parking will be located on the field next to the track and cost £6 for the weekend.

Other info:

There will be a selection of caterers provided that should keep most appetites happy.
Top pub from Worcestershire “The Admiral Rodney” will be supplying a bar onsite.
Peterboroughs tuck shop will be open near the track during racing.
Groove Racing shop will be onsite.

Peterborough Inter Regional - Sunday 17th April

Peterborough Phantoms BMX club looks forward to welcoming you to round 1 of the East Anglian Summer Regional series. This is an inter Regional with the Midlands although riders from all regions are welcome. This round counts as a Brits qualifier for both EA and Midland riders.

Race classes for the event are as follows:-

Novice. 7 and under, 8-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17+
Male 20 inch. 6 and under, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17-24, 25-29, Masters (30+), Veteran (40+), Junior (17-18), Elite.
Female. 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, Championship (17+)
Cruiser. 9-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45+ Female 17-29, Female 30+
13’s and above may use clip pedals.
Elite and Junior class riders are those that ride in the Elite and Junior at National series events.

GOLDEN TICKET….
This year all of the EA series will have a “Golden Ticket” final, and for inter regional’s 2 finals will be picked! Two finals will be picked at random; the first 3 in each golden ticket final will win a cash prize of
1st £25
2nd £15
3rd £10
(Note, prizes are for first 3 over the finish line in final, including first 3 over the line in grand prix 4th moto)

Registration opens at 9am
Pre reg is not available although there will be 3 laptops running so queuing will be down to a minimum.

Novice £5
Expert £8 for one class £12 for two classes.

Gate practice is in two sessions, 11.00 – 11.30, 11.30 – 12.15
Racing from approx 12.30
Listen for announcements as an anticipated large rider turnout may mean times could vary.
Please check pre sheets and advise registration immediately of errors.

Raffle tickets are £1 a strip, Lots of Easter prises to be won!
Car parking is £3
Groove racing and Urbanair will be trading.
Burger van.
Toilets are located in the nearby Herlington community centre.
Come and get your practice for rounds 1 and 2 of the National series only two weeks later!!!
